Monthly working-order checks
Every month we submit your forms, check every link, open the pages your visitors use most, and look at the calendar, hours and notices for anything out of date.
Software updates handled
Where your site runs on WordPress or a similar platform, core, plugins and themes are kept current and checked after each update. Where it doesn’t, we work with your provider so nothing is left behind.
Security and uptime watched
Availability, certificate expiry, unexpected changes and known software vulnerabilities are monitored continuously. If something changes that shouldn’t, we know before you do.
Small changes, done
Term dates or trading hours, a new newsletter, a staff photo, a price list, a notice on the home page: email it and it’s done. 30 minutes a month included, 2 hours on Care Plus.
Fast help when something breaks
A form stops delivering, a page errors, a plugin conflicts after an update. We investigate and fix it, and if it needs your provider we deal with them so you don’t have to.

Backups confirmed
We confirm backups exist where your hosting lets us see them, keep our own copy of the site content, and test a restore so recovery is a plan rather than a hope.

Website Care sits on top of your current website environment. Here is the whole process.
- 1. Free health checkSend us the address. We review the site from the outside and send a one-page report within two business days. No login, nothing changes.
- 2. You give us accessYou provide the website or hosting access the service needs, usually a login to the site and, where practical, to the hosting account. Your provider keeps theirs.
- 3. We fix the quick winsThe items from the health check that can be fixed straight away are, in the first fortnight: broken links, stale pages, overdue updates, a form sending to the wrong place.
- 4. Ongoing careMonthly checks, updates, security watching, small changes by email, and the report. From then on, the website has someone.
We work with the existing hosting wherever it is technically practical, which is most of the time. If a site genuinely needs a new home or a rebuild, we say so in the health check and treat it as a separate project. Flowmatix can host the site if you want us to; it is never a condition of Website Care.

Your Website Care plan includes up to 30 minutes of content updates each month for everyday changes — updating text, replacing documents, changing images, updating dates or notices, and making small page edits.
No need to log in to the website or raise a separate purchase order for every small change. Email what you need, and it's done.
30 minutes per month on Care, 2 hours on Care Plus — non-cumulative, so unused time doesn't roll over. Requests go to a single email address. New pages, redesigns, major content entry, new functionality and work beyond the included time are quoted separately, so the annual price stays predictable.

"We already have someone who looks after our website."
That's fine, and you don't necessarily need to replace them. Most schools and businesses have someone who built or hosts the site. Fewer have someone whose job it is to check it every month, make the small changes the same week, watch the security side, and report back. Website Care is that layer. It sits alongside your provider: they keep hosting or building, we keep caring. If it turns out your provider already does all of this, the free health check will show it and you've lost nothing.

What Website Care is, and isn't.
It's ongoing care for the website you already have: keeping it current, working and secure, fixing what breaks, and telling you what we did. It works on your existing hosting wherever that's technically practical, which is nearly always. No service can promise a website will never have a problem, so we don't; we promise that someone competent is checking, updating and watching it, and that recovery is tested rather than hoped for.
It isn't a design retainer or a rebuild. Everyday changes are covered by the time included each month (non-cumulative), and your team can still edit the site whenever they like. New pages, redesigns, new functionality, migrations and anything beyond the included time are quoted separately, so the annual price stays predictable. Vigil is the technology that watches and checks; the Flowmatix team makes the judgement calls, the changes and the fixes. Reports and alerts come from [email protected], and a reply to any of them reaches a person.
